Australia, the land of opportunities, is considered to be one of the best migration destinations in the world. The

statistics, Australia’s resident population is more than 21 million, of which about 44 per cent were

As per the migration programme of the Government of Australia for 2007-08, there
are up to 152 500 places for migrants, comprising 102 500 places for skilled
migrants who gain entry essentially because of their work or business skills
and 50 000 places for family migrants who are sponsored by family members
